Toyota to sell all electric in 2012
Toyota, the company that practically started the alternative fuel craze with it’s first Prius, is planning on selling an all electric car in 2012. Toyota has been pretty quiet about the EV scene since the Prius came out. But that appears to be changing over the next five years.
Toyota is also planning to start selling hydrogen-fuel-cell vehicles in 2015. TM is moving forward with a proposal to expand the Prius hybrid into a family of vehicles. The company unveiled the second member of this family of cars at the Detroit Auto Show.
