Europcar and the car manufacturer Nissan have come to together in partnership to start marketing electric cars in 2010. The joint venture between Nissan and Europcar is a first for the car rental industry and show commitment on behalf of Europcar to educate their own customers in alternative car hire.

The cars will initially be made available in New Zealand and Australia in Australasia and France, UK, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Germany and Portugal in Europe.  More
