Ford looking for some of the DOE loan

Ford is going to roll out some new electric vehicles next year.  And when they do they want some infrastructure in place to support the EVs.  So the automaker has been working with utilities and seeking government aid to make sure that there are enough charging stations out there.

The money will come out of the $400 million Department of Energy fund that is available to automakers for the research and development of EVs.
